Allows use of side mounted optics, allows firing from folded position (without cheek risers). Wedge block interface allows easy fitment and requires no adapters. MSRP $99.95 Zhukov Hand Guard-Extruded and Machined anodized aluminum chassis with Polymer hand guard. M-LOK slots-side slots attach through to aluminum chassis. Ultimak compatible. Requires removal of Hand Guard retainer. Includes upper hand guard/gas tube cover. Fits stamped and milled rifles with 16.75-18.25mm barrels (Measured behind HG retainer) MSRP $99.95 MOE Stock-Fixed triangle stock for stamped rifles. Compatible with Magpul AK cheek risers. Includes storage compartment. Wedge block interface allows easy fitment and requires no adapters. | Definitely getting a zukhov folder for my sar-3. The question will be if it matches existing plum furniture on the market. That, and how strong the hinge is. Magpul stuff is durable, but if theres no metal in the hinge or lockup is wobbly I'll likely pass. |

I have an SLR-107F, and I have to say I <3 that standard folding stock on it. So this 'new folding stock' doesn't really tickle my fancy.
But, this new Magpul hand-guard has peaked my interest. One main question though: Does this hand-guard have a heat-shield? Because the standard hand-guard has a stainless steel heat-shield to help protect or at least mitigate the polymer exposure to extreme heat. |

| Why would anyone wanna go from a pinned gas block to a bolt on gas block? I do not understand that. The pinned one will never come loose, even with red loctite on the venom block, sometimes I get my guns so hot it would melt the loctite and boom now my ak is single shot. |
