Maadi Dustcover: Is it numbered to the rest of the rifle?

I traded for one a while back and receiver, carrier, bolt all match....but the dustcover has "GI XXXX"

Is that normal or did the dustcover just get swapped at some point?

Mine has a matching number. Probably swapped at some point.
