I just installed one of these handguard sets with the rmr us palm topcover with the dual-illuminated rmr on my AK today, Love it! looks and feels great. VERY robust product, I'm extremely happy with it to say the least. Thank you for providing great AK items, the best available.

I had one, and it was not for me. I liked the whole idea of it and the product itself is top-notch in fit and finish. I just decided to keep mine more traditional in its look and feel.
My question, I have it listed for sale and someone with a Tantal model has expressed interest. will it fit a Tantal style AK74?? Thanks for any input. |
| I know I'm bumping something pretty old here but I have a question for Midwest. I know the normal universal AK setup won't fit on a 308 saiga. I tried my set before I put them on my 223 rifle I had ordered them for and while it would fit the barrel the clamp interfered with installing the gas tube. The vepr version is listed for 308 caliber vepr's and I'm wondering if it would fit the 308 saiga variants too? |

Thanks The VEPR hand guard does not currently have an optic top cover since the gas tube sits higher on the VEPR's than it does on the AK's.
