Being an AR guy, I just decided that I must have one AK in my collection before the new laws go into effect next year. I did handle a Arsenal rifle, but somehow was drawn to one of these made by a company here in California (from Polish parts, apparently). While the Arsenal was a fine build, I was intrigued by the fit an finish on the MDC and enjoyed the irony of it being born here in the People's Republic of Kalifornia.

Fit and finish looks nice on this and it is setup with Tapco stock, trigger, and brake. Grips and hand guard are Hogue. I would have preferred wooden furniture, but perhaps ergonomics wins over good looks.
