Might be a stupid question... I got a NIB M90 rifle and it didn't come with a cleaning rod in the slot under the barrel. It has a 3-piece rod in a bag with the manual, but when assembled, it way too long to fit in the slot. Pictures on the company website and on-line show a cleaning rod installed. I have reached out to Zastava CS but haven't heard back yet, I assume due to the holiday. Does one come standard? |

No, there isn’t a one piece rod that’s included with the M90 unfortunately. You could try putting two segments together and seeing how that looks. I’ve purchased SKS cleaning rods for my M90/M77 guns since they have the proper length to at least look right. I’ve never actually used an AK cleaning rod for cleaning so looking right was good enough.

It just pushes my OCD button to have an empty slot. Thanks for the SKS rod recommendation - I think I might have an extra laying around somewhere. Odd that the rifle shown on their website shows a rod in place. |
