Just got this back yesterday from Koonce Custom Gunworks in Salem, OR.
I sent him a pile of parts and he sent me this: 
ORF receiver remarked, custom one-off bayo mount that Todd somehow built from an AR FSB. US Made front handguard/wood (off GB) Shot it this morning for the first time- I'm stoked!! |

Has tri-lug barrel, custom QD 24x1.5mm thread adaptor, inverse safety, and custom stock block that takes ace parts (still needs some paint), the rest is self explainatory. The other rifle is an SKS-M in a SGW Bullpup stock kit. Both Finished this week.

how well does that top cover hold zero? |
I fitted it so it would be very tight when I built the rifle, so it holds zero perfectly. I can remove it and put it back on with no change in zero.

Here is my Golani that I refinished in duracoat. This one has always run flawlessly with no heat treat issues.

Just bought my Golani a few weeks ago, and finished painting it last weekend. It's been a few years since Ive camo'd up a rifle, but it'll suffice for its main purpose.
Still a lot of modifications need to be done. Ill be adding the Leapers UTG quad-rail, 552 EOTech, Surefire Scout Light and my gangsta grip (all from my previous deployments to Iraq). I'd love to add a 16" barrel and full AK buttstock, but Ill have to be patient. Some extra Orlite 35rd'ers would be nice too.

My Golani (yes, it did come with the wood handguard):  It's a pretty decent shooter, although the front sight is driven all the way to the right to zero it up. I suspect that the top cover is skewed, so I'm going to try to source another one. |

Heres Mine I just finished last week,,, Has Trillum sights from 24 Hour Tact and other goodies like UTG Furniture and 24 Hr Tac rear stock adapter and a 6 postion stock also new USA piston. Orlite Mags,Sarco replacement Charging Handle knob, Us made flash suppressor Tapco FCG and other tweaks I had to do to get it running... I have about 150 rounds try it by now and parked all the old parts to get it to look all black. Now Ill gun cote over the park once I see its good to go......

I have Galil envy. I do have a Norinco Hunter that I tried to dress up to look the part.
