Tried to do it myself, but, am so lost. I watched a bunch of videos, read tons of articles, more confused than before! I bought an SKS from a local auction. | Field strip it, get some good lighting and I bet you’ll find Russian proof marks under the wood line on the barrel and receiver. Century brought some in and faintly marked them under the barrel above the bayonet. I have a stamped receiver BWest imported that is lightly marked you have to hold it just right to see it. |
