Pretty self-explanatory as in all irony the company seems to assume it to be the case...got one of these secondhand, want to install it on my standard AKM receiver, except I don't know how... Seems to be simple in principle, yes, you just drill 3 holes on the bottom of your receiver so the included screws fit through to hold the adapter/magwell in place...however, what is confusing is that no guidance is offered as to where to drill the first hole...I tried lining up the adapter with my magwell hole, but it's still unclear to me, and further whether we should replace the bullet guide rivet with 1 of the screws...tried reaching out to the company, no response as expected...anyone who has one of these (and installed it successfully) care to chip in? |
| Never saw that before but looking at the website it looks like you need to install this so it lines up properly with the grip and trigger guard so I would start by dry fitting with with the grip installed. Then it would seem to me that you would need clamp it in place and see if you can get it to hand cycle with mag. Once you get that located properly, measure 10x and drill once. Another thought would be to post on the comments on the website and see if someone responds. Good luck. |

Thanks, you're the only one who has helped me with this and it is much appreciated...sent an email and tried posting on their website to no avail as of today, so glad to have some guidance in the picture. |
