Only markings are a 1 near the bottom and 7.62x39 near the top Were these commercial or military surplus. I remember hearing talk online at the time that the feed lips crack  |

If I remember correctly they’re basically Polish AK103 mags. The polymer was more fragile on them than Bulgarian or Russian mags around the feed lips. I got some of those around the time you’re talking about because I loved the slab side look and they were less bulky than Bulgarian waffles. I do remember some plastic coming off of them and also some polymer Tantal black polymer mags. |

Has metal reinforcements at the front and rear, but no metal for the feed lips. FWIW It's sat loaded for 20+ years and hasnt cracked. |
