Switch to an A5 buffer tube instead of the m4. What a difference in recoil impulse and ROF. I believe the recoil rod was bottoming out in the m4/CAR tube, as my rod ended up getting bent with use. My aluminum lower was also seeing a lot of excessive wear. The extra length of the A5 buffer tube give the bolt carrier it's full stroke. And has created an almost constant recoil style of impulse.
