So I have had this issue with the triangle brace that comes on a bunch of ak pistols, it looks fugly. I don’t understand why there is a 4.5mm to picatinny adaptor that goes on the side folding trunnion, then there is a picatinny clamp adapter that is on the brace which attaches to the previously mentioned pic rail. You have all these extra pieces that look silly and are not necessary. So I decided to do something about it. I designed an adapter that bolts up to the triangle brace using the same hardware, and interfaces directly with the 4.5mm side folding trunnion in the gun already. Looks so much cleaner and more like the real steal triangle folder. I’m quite pleased with the results. This is the second version of my little invention, the first one didn’t lined up perfectly, so I adjusted it up 2.75mm so that it all lines up with the rear of the receiver. What do you guys think?

That brace was cool when it was 1st release but once people got them they realized of flimsy it was so the adapters really slowed down. |
