Can an overgassed AK cause FTF?

Unsuppressed: My sam7k launches empties into low orbit and the bolt bottoms out on the rear trunnion
Suppressed: I got a couple FTF; the next round doesn't strip off the mag and looks like it gets stuck diagonally

Yes, sounds like an overgassing issue. Check out KNS adjustable piston, would likely solve your issue.
