I'm having a tough time between 1P87 and Kashtan 1P. I definitely like 1P87 as an optic but I am not a fan of the Jupiter JSC magnifer tbh (which is why I have a G33 in this photo), but 1P87 itself and the Novus clones are legit I jigged up a Zenitco white light and have the Perst 3 mounted sidewise on an RS Regulate BM-1 barrel clamp. I probably wouldn't go to war with the Klesch white light, but for a training gun this setup is ok If I were to be assaulted by Antifa in a fictional world and needed to defend myself I'd probably have a modlite instead like my AK105. This particular setup with the crapp ZenitCo pressure switches solves the less than stellar design of the Izhmash AK12 polymer HGs. I prefer the laser on the gas tube but it's just not practical on the AK12 with the current HGs (unless you want 4 to 6 MOA shift and a slap to return to zero experience  )  AK105 is peak AK74 for me, but I'm totally loving the AK12K as well  Kinda toying with a Saiga 223 / AK101 with the SureShot USA Mk3 chassis, and some US accessories

I no longer have this I sold it 10 years ago but I bet it's still out there... super "bubba" job on a WASR I picked up for $145 back in the day... cut and welded front sight to gas block, used an actual Galil handguard and modified it to fit, cut the charging handle and welded it to the left side, cut the mag release and welded on one of my own design that could be operated with the trigger finger without losing grip...mags dropped free. welded a butler creek 10/22 folding stock to the rear. defiantly NON traditional stuff here...

I did not modify it to fit the rifle I modified the rifle... so in theory it may still be intact and out there!

Seems like BelOMO understands clip-on thermal height AK12K with BelOMO COD2M combined optic, which is basically a PO 4x17 and an RS-M red dot together, with kind of an Elcan elevation system. The interesting part is that the Voodoo-S sits exactly right for the 4x magnification, and you get that useful PO 4x17 range finder and BDC   eta: @atravis11b Don't shame me for my lack of 3rd bump rivet on the AK12 receiver. I bought it as a complete rifle to be a beat down rode hard hung up wet shooter, not a collector piece

Not even if you preferred super high mounted ACOGs on your SVD/AKs! ;) That optic is super cool, I’ve never seen one of those! How does one acquire one? Will you have a write up on it? I’ve been a ghost lately…. I was hoping to be able to shoot with you guys once I got back CONUS, but I’ve been down south for the last couple months chasing guys in AZ, NM, and TX. I’m not scheduled to be back in Colorado until November timeframe…. right back into winter :) Hopefully we can get together, I’d really like to shoot that thing! |

Home build Krink, Recreator 80% receiver, FSB and handguard retainer. Bulgarian barrel and hinge block. WBP bolt, carrier and trunnion. The rest is a mix of stuff from the parts box. I used stencils and electro etched the serial number and caliber, I'm really pleased with how the etching came out.   |

I love the look and feel of this gun but it shoots ~4 MOA no matter what I do :|  Arsenal 104FR with some weirdness going on. I love the hex handguards and was giving the ACR stock a try. It might just be too western to stay on any of my AK's.  |
