| When did this happen? I remember back in the day the EG 5.45 mags were cheap as crap. Now they seem to be more than Russian bakelites. Never thought I’d see the day. |

Probably 20 years ago. I bought a bunch of bakelites for $3, because no 5.45 available. .221 Genghis, notwithstanding. About 5 years ago, mags had value. Now, with no imports of 7n6, meh. |

I remember when "What a Country" was blowing out the packages of 4 excellent 5.45 E.G. Bakelites + raindrop pouch for something like $5 each (for the 4 pack with case). Bought a bunch, but never got that into 5.45 and sold off my only 5.45 AK (actually a Tantal) and never looked back. Bigger_Hammer

| Many years ago I bought my first AK-74 and bought all of the East German 4 packs Sarco had and then sold them off. I have a few odd mags left but bailed on the 74 about 3 years ago |

Bigger_Hammer Yes, that was where I got mines also. I bought 4 of them so I had 16 of theose things and they were brand new. Wanted to build an NGM-81 clone and gave up when I saw a Arzenal AK106FR for $799 and bought it. The idea was to convert them to use on my Bulgarian AK106FR but it was taking some work on it. I sold them and bought Arsenal .223 Circle 10 mags. |

How much these worth? I have a bunch. Most have the 4 mags in the pouch with blank firing device, striper clips and stripper clip guide, cleaning kit. The mags are new.
