I bought an AK-74 in 2010 and now don't have much time to shoot it. I am considering selling it, but I have no real feel for current prices. It comes with 7 or so black or reddish plastic com-bloc mags that I bought in or around 2010. Pictured below is not mine but is very very similar to mine, almost exactly like mine. The AK has no problems, has been a good shooter, fairly low mileage. Guesses of value would be appreciated. Just trying to get a feel for value, not for sale-at least for now.

Tag for the same reasons!  OP, when you say reddish brown mags, are they bakelite? Because those are fetching a pretty penny these days. FWIW, Bulgarian parts kits are ridiculous these days, I don't understand why: Atlantic Firearms Similarly oddly high pricing from What-A-Country |

Unless it was obviously a Bulgarian or green mountain chrome lined barrel, I think most knowledgeable buyers would be really wary. As in maybe $800. |

There are .223 barrels. You’re going to need a barrel. May as well build a -74 that shoots easily found non corrosive ammo. |
