Been without a semi AKM clone for about 15. Miss having one. I've been given an opportunity to buy back my old AK from a buddy. Romanian G with Dong Foregrip, built on a Arsenal US receiver. He never fired it and is willing to sell it back to me for $600 with six loaded mags and the sling and bayonet. Should I? And before I do, what's the state of AK ownership in America? I see AK's have gone up a lot in price while AR's have gone down.. Ammo availability? Current newly manufactured, middle of the road options? Vs my old Romy G? Is the water fine or are AK's not worth getting (back) into now? The other option I'm considering.is picking up a Springfield Scout M1A. Just wanting something in 30 caliber, they are quite different and this is obviously the AK forum but objectively which would you rather have? |
