Before the AK master mount was installed the bolt would close freely with no hang ups what so ever.

It only take slight nudge to get it to go into battery, but it is definitely hanging up on something.   When charging the the rifle you can feel a slight rearward impingement as well.

I am assuming it is hanging up on the hammer face?

Probably fixed by now, but if not, try loosening the screw(s). May be too much pressure on receiver
