Just got a rail for mine today finally and was planning on trying out some AAC 69gr but I'll put a mag of 77 to see how it performs and report back in the next week or two. Even though it's 1/9 it's worth trying out I guess but I'm hoping the 69 performs at least. |

I hit the range last week to take my 14.5" Beryl on its maiden voyage. I was shooting from a bit of an awkward position as I forgot my sandbag bag rest. The results below is what I got for now, but I also have some 62gr and 75gr to try out. I'll follow up again next time I hit the range, and I won't forget my bag.

I don't know if the 77s will perform good but I'm hoping one of the AAC loads and the beryl perform well. I don't know what role I'm even using mine for honestly but I'd like to stock up on a good round it likes. I can't remember the last 1/9 twist barrel I've had either. I assumed 77 wouldn't stabilize great but we'll see. |

But I'm invested in these accuracy reports Thanks, I pay the membership fee just for the pics but I been too cheap I'm off a few days next week but I'm going to try and get out tomorrow if the wind doesn't get too bad. ETA- Judging from the IMI JJL posted I'm not too positive on the AAC 77 but I think the 69gr I have should be the sweet spot. It's heavy and I think about as short as 855 so in theory it should work well for the twist. |

This was only at 36 yards, but I wouldn't put much stock into the groups because of my crappy rest and awkward shooting position i was shooting from. I'm gonna hit the range again this Friday with some more ammo and shoot from a bench with a good rest. I'll follow up again soon |

I installed an alg ultimate or whatever the more expensive alg is in mine and it's too light. I'm going to swap it out but it's a pain to change the beryl trigger and I been lazy. I don't know how good I can group with that but I've had range days like that. It's at least something to go off of for now. |

It's at least something to go off of for now. Alright so hit the range this morning and shot these groups at 65 yards from a bench. Yes, I know I'm not a good shot. Lol I added pics of other shots taken from my HK MR556 A4, which I believe is known to be a pretty dang accurate gun, for comparison purposes so you can kinda gauge and get an idea of the accuracy of the Beryl.

I'm just gonna to put a 1x on mine. I still have to try some 69 grain but I don't even know what role I plan on using the beryl for yet. For now it's just a part of the cool AK collection that might not be available soon but maybe I can use it in a competition or training class. It seems pretty accurate for what I need just shooting around plinking but my Giessele and Colt socom barrels might get most of the 77 grain stuff. |
