Gents, I have a handful of ak mags that I need help identifying. I tried watching videos but some of these are confusing. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if the wrappers throw them off. I didn't want to remove them as they were sealed. #1 x on rib light welds    #2 s on rib. Light welds    #3 z on spine    #4 M? On spine    #5 no markings very light welds   #6 (left) 0 on spine heavier weld on mag    #7 (right) heavier welds. No markings  #8 no markings.   #9 02 and another marking on spine    #10 looks blued. Large p on spine    #11 small s and f along with other markings on spine

I got so frustrated trying to ID my metal surplus mags I just gave up on some of them. I was able to identify Romanian, Polish, Yugo, East German, Bulgarian, Hungarian, and Chinese positivly. I have others that I am not 100% sure about and said fuck it. The Croation are easy because of their logo on the body, and because they usually don't fit the mag well...  I have some Korean metal mags as well. They work, but are lighter weight than the traditional surplus mag. |
