| I have a Romanian WASR 10/63 and I know that magazine wiggle is normal and the firearm for the most part feeds reliably. My question is, is it normal for a magazine to move laterally so far that it binds on the wall of the slot for the magazine latch? Basically the right angle of the magazine tab is hitting the little walls of the magazine latch and although it’s an easy thing to just move it to the center… I’m wondering this is a normal issue? |

| I guess I’m wondering if it’s normal for the side to side movement at the back of the magazine when inserting it can cause the locking lug at the back of the magazine to be slightly offkilter so that it does not ride smoothly into the magazine latch slot, and actually the lug gets jammed into the wall for the latch slot when inserting a mag with too much tension on the left or right side. I’m thinking any rifle with slight lateral movement can have this problem where the lug does not go directly into the slot with inserted |
