So 3-4 million just in East Germany is a pretty obscene number considering the overall size of the country and its military. I have always understood that East Germany/DDR rested a lot of their economy on foreign arms sales, often to the annoyance of the Soviet Union, who didn't always want their modern weapon designs freely sold on the black market or to non Soviet-aligned state actors. It's just more surprising given those numbers that parts kits have not been more common in the US |
| That Ukraine even uses the Brits for “training” is funny. By my estimation the Ukrainians are far more experienced than the Brits are now. Heck the Ukrainians most likely have more infantry than the Brits do. |
