I put an order in for a PAP M92 on 12/20 with SOG for $595 + ship. I did it online and told my friend and he ordered two on the 22nd. After xmas I get an email
saying they were charging me an extra $100. I talked to my friend and his shipped before mine and got the $595. I called SOG and explained this to them. They didn't care, if I wanted it I would have to pay the extra $100. I told them to eat it! Never buy anything from them again.

If the order was processed and received (probably with a confirmation number and email) the item has been SOLD to you (whether they charged your card yet or not)!!! They cannot change the price after the fact. Call them back and politely ask to speak to a manger. Tell them you talked to your lawyer and if they do not honor the SOLD price (contractual agreement) with you you will send them a letter of intent to sue (in small claims court) and further you can let them know you will be happy to publicize the matter all over the internet in every forum/venue known.
I have heard other ridiculous examples with Dracos. For example the obvious sitch with PMAGs is outrageous. Its one thing to throw em up on Gunbroker and get what you can get but brick & mortar retailers instantly quadrupling the price of their inventory on hand is sleeze and every regular/local customer should turn their backs. Shame on SOG if what you describe is true. |
| Yeah, it took them 4 days to confirm and they sent the increase with the confirmation should I accept.Covered their butts, I did ask for a manager when I called but they were all busy. So it was their way or the highway. They will never get my business again. I'm disappointed as I just wanted one, didn't want it for resale. |
