buk Yeah I just found out on Friday they have not updated their website until.....well just now basically. I ordered a K31 and tried to order an AK under folder and they were out of the under folder even though their website said otherwise. Sometimes they can't keep up with updating their website in a timely fashion. |

Centerfire said they expected a shipment in about 1-2 weeks when I pre-ordered/back-ordered mine, and were pretty sure of it. There's always a chance they'd get shorted on their order of course. Classic told me essentially the same thing.
If you're thinking of getting one, a pre-order seems about as certain as it gets, orders with cash, check or a CC on them will go out first. |

| I got my Draco a couple weeks ago, for $453.63 for the gun and 80 rds of some surplus ammo. I went into the gun shop looking for maybe a new Glock. I saw the Draco and it forced me to take it home. I put a bipod on the front, which also doubles as a front grip. That thing is a blast!! Bill in W. Michigan |
I just ordered one at 329.00 at centerfire systems. Can't beat that price with a stick!
I wonder if they charge your card before they have them or do they wait for them to be ready to ship before charging the card? 
Been a busy gun buyer lately and could use a breather on the plastic before it melts down. 
Anyone know? |
| AFAIK, it is against the law to charge you card in advance of shipment and this is not a special order item that they could not sell if you backed out of the order. They have not charged my card at this point and I am almost at the 2 week point since placing the order. |

I don't see it being a law because anytime I order a rifle/pistol from AIM or Classicarms they tell me there is no charge on your card until your item ships. BTW who did you order from

| Yep, I think we made the cut. My order dates back to 1/26. I communicated with them by e-mail late last week and they responded that I was still in the cue and my Draco would ship when they were back in stock but no date known. If you log in you can check the status of your order - it should be listed as "Confirmed". |

Ordered from Centerfire. Yeah, pretty certain about it being a law because some of the big boys (Sears, etc.) got in trouble some years ago when they would charge a person's card for an item backordered and the person would be billed interest each cycle even when they had not received their merchandise. They were required to refund the money - this happened to me. Now, can't say for certain if it is a Federal law or a law in the specific state where I lived at the time. |

Just double checked...I'm confirmed as well!!
Wonder if this means the distributor limited the available pistols to each dealer because there isn't enough to go around? Otherwise why not keep taking backorders? Glad I got off the fence at the last minute and ordered!

| Not surprised at the number of backorders. These guns have suddenly become very popular for a couple of reasons. Myself, I am not interested in using it to convert to an SBR or AOW, just to appreciate it for the fun "pistol" it is. I'll dress it up with a custom rear swivel, sling, Hogue pistol grip and may change the color of the wood but other than that I just want to enjoy it and have fun. Might add a drum just for kicks. Not really very practical but they sure are neat looking on a Draco. Got all my accessories on hand, just waiting for the pistol. No telling how long but I hope it is here within the next couple of weeks. |

I just got on the list with centerfire. I did not ask them how long it would take to get to me. Anyone have a clue about that. Isn't if funny how having to wait for something you really want is so hard to do. Sure, I could go on GB and pay over $400. I'll wait and use the savings on 20 rd mags. I was also thinking that it would be cool of someone came out with a lower forend that had finger grips to help holding onto the thing. Something just a little bit fatter and grooved. |

Helpful lady at Centerfire just told me they got in a shipment, it's getting received/entered into inventory. (Never thought about the work of doing the bound FFL book in those quantities, ouch, hope they got a computer variance from the ATF!) and they should be filling a batch of back-orders this week.
She did say that there were not enough to fill ALL the back-orders there though. Hopefully mine and anyone here got theirs in early enough. She could not say how far up/down the list one needed to be, because they wouldn't know who of all the back-orders that would not want them, or got them elsewhere in the meantime.
