7n6 steel penetration at 200+ yards

I'm taking my new 3/8” AR500 torso target to a buddies farm along with my two 5.45x39 rifles (Russian Saiga and S&W M&P). I'm wondering if 200 yards is far enough to shoot the steel target without damaging it? I'm using both mid 80's Bulgarian and Russian 7N6 ammo. Thanks in advance for your help.

It’ll probably dimple it a bit but it won’t penetrate. Similar to M855…7N6 isn’t AP ammo.

200 yds it should be fine. 7N6 is a bit behind velocity wise compared to even M855.
