What AKs are out there right now in 5.56x45 that use AR15 mags? And are any durable and reliable. |

Zastava PAP M90NP PSA AK-556 And technically the Galil ACE and SIG 55x are AKs internally for the most part. Both have had both rock and lock and STANAG mag well versions imported. At one point Radom was going to be selling a version of the Beryl with a removable adapter, but it never came to be. At this point it doesn't seem to be something most buyers really want any more, since 5.56 AK mags are now cheap and readily available. |

My PSA AK-556 has been very reliable and quite accurate. My only complaint is the gas system is lossy and doesn't suppress well but that's just the AK design. |
