Rails seem well thought out and slimmer than the JL rail from looking at the pictures. Those aren't the ones we are discussing in this thread. They are neat, but not really what we are looking for. |

I think Klayco managed to put together an SLR-106FR with the green goblin furniture. It's magnificent. Maybe we can mug him at KalashBash. But seriously, I think the green is fantastic - now we just need to sneak a green B-33 out of Russia. Ha! I found the link.  Failed To Load Title EDIT: My mistake, looks like a 7.62 not a 5.56 AK. There is a life lesson in that. Saw how expensive it was gonna be to outfit a rifle and just decided to sit and wait. Now? Vaporware with no end in sight. Really hoping PSA goes balls deep with their Z inspired parts and comes out with the hand guards, too covers, and adjustable stocks. I'm really picky with OAL on stocks and can't stomach an AR stock on an AK, but would like adjustment. |
Often times, manufacturers post product pictures on their websites of unreleased units. PSA is no exception, and if you look closely, you will find photos of their SA-10U and SA-19 handguards on their site already. I've linked some of those pictures below for those of you who simply lack imagination and initiative. Perhaps PSA is mere weeks away from releasing this system.... still no B-33 clone (likely dubbed SA-33).

I beat their email by several hours, so its not your fault that you were a bit late my friend! Anyway, it is a cool system. What remains to be seen is if it is compatible with the zenitco B-33. Could, for example, someone grab a PSA unit and affix a genuine B-33 to it? Thats what I want to know. |

I don't want to go through 3 pages because I'm lazy but will this be at all compatible with existing Zenitco Furniture? I got a B33, but will the what I'm assuming will be S31N (Zenitco B31N) from PSA be compatible with it? OR maybe the B19N version from PSA with the shorter Zenitco Bottom Rail? EDIT: I just scrolled a couple of posts ahead and seen Sal already post this question. Definitely Lazy Tonight.

Product description says some fitting required. I got some of the other PSA metal handguards, with the mlok slots. Those ones were a tight fit and required a little cussing and/or filing to get them to fit. |

I read that in the description, but was not sure if that applied to other brand AK's, as I said above the HG Retainer of PSA seems much thicker than my Arsenal, JRA, and Century AK's. Guess I wouldn't be wrong to assume I'm going to have to file it down to fit it. Hopefully PSA will give better installation instructions than Zenitco, "Make Handguard Fit Shape of Rifle with Hammer" |
