I like it quite a bit. I haven't seriously tested it. Just shot with it some for groups awhile back. I'm also relatively new to scopes of this nature so take what I say with a grain of salt. In my opinion, it's like a PST, except better in every way. They took a lot of the desirable features from Vortex and improved upon them or added even more. It "seems" to be built a little nicer. Glass is better, or at the very least equal. The turrets are much nicer. The power ring is smoother. Knurling done well and in the right places. If you had to nitpick... The illumination isn't super bright. It's longer and heavier than some others. But all in all, I think it's really nice. |

Wasn't the best day for shooting groups, but the 77 grainers really sail to the 600 meter target. With the adjustable gas block and saker 556, it feels like shooting a pellet gun. Less gas being pushed through the ejection port makes a load of difference for the noise at the ear as well. I would pretty much call it hearing safe under most conditions.
I am on the fence about snagging a DPMS recon G2 and making a .308 DMR out of it in a similar configuration, but man is a 5.56 AR fun to shoot Attached File Attached File |
