Here's a video of me at last weekend USPSA local match in Havelock, NC.
I didn't break the 180.. ![]() Keep in mind this is my first time at a competition.. Enjoy, giggle, comment.. s87.photobucket.com/albums/k160/topher63/?action=view¤t=USPSAMatch12Apr08202.flv CXS |

You got up and finished the course. You didnt put anyone in danger, and while I cant see your hits you looked pretty smooth on your shots and transitions.
You did good. I have done the same. Shit I almost shot the table a few times this saturday because we had to shoot under it and I am pretty sure it was below fat guy compliance but they said that wasnt a valid argument ![]() As long as you are safe and follow the basic firearms rules everything else is just fun. I really wish they did three gun stuff here, I miss it. I dont know if you have ever spent some time on Brianenos.com but one of the big wigs over there has a guy falling down as his avatar. Looks a lot like your fall but he had his pistol. It just runs in a loop. People who willingly point out their faults and laugh about them are people I like to shoot with. People who "NEVER" mess up (at least according to them) are no fun anyway |

LOL.
I will be going back religiously.. It was too much fun.. I've been shooting 100 rounds a day practicing for April 26th Pistol match.. I totally screwed up one course of fire (I used 2 hands and none of my shots counted..) But the rest of the time was a blast.. heres the scores.. ![]()

Looks like you did all right to me. I totally blew a stage last month, thank god it wasnt the classifier.
These damn games are a friggin disease. I am looking for a new pistol for production and probably building a few dedicated rimfires for the matches they do a whopping twice a year ![]() |

Since getting into 3-gun, USPSA, and IDPA this past year I have spent a small forune on guns and reloading gear ![]() |

Yep, all I do at night is think and look at what I need/want for a perfect setup.. Then reality hits and I realize I cannot afford it.. ![]() CXS |

at 21 sec after you came around the barrels and before you fell, you were definately breakinging the 180. if was based off the barrels or the walls, plus the stage design is poor, way to cramped, causing you to either sweep yourself if transition low or to easy to break the 180 if you go muzzle high But nice recover from the fall |

|
Yeah that stage isnt designed very well, even more so for us "big" guys

Yea, I just noticed the 180 break.. Damn mud is what got me.. I was the last gunner to run that stage. I tried to keep the rifle in SUL but see the slight sweep. It was very tight in there, especially for my fat ass.. CXS |

Yeah I think we should do some petitions to USPSA and the like to make sure the stage of fire is fat guy compliant.

You saved it. Ive fallen far worse than that.

They are way ahead of you, not just with stages but a whole set of rules. Its called IDPA. ![]() |
