In addition to the training we got to meet some of the industry powerhouses, such as Jared from Rockwell Tactical Group, Will, the man behind Blacksheepwarrior, Jeff from LEO Armory (love that laser etching), and the mad ‘hatcheteer’, Martin from Iron Hammer Armory. We also got to meet some industry celebrities like Zeke and Lefthand from Talking Lead, Ebbs from Haus of Guns, and country music singer Markus Fox. There were some great products on display as well; RTG and Blacksheepwarrior were showing off their awesome helmets from Team Wendy, Iron Hammer Armory had their incredible American made AKs and hatchets, Sonoran Desert Institute (SDI) was there to show off some their beautiful firearms and talk about their school and SoCo Kydex had some real nice kydex holsters on display.
All in all it was an incredible weekend. For all of the high quality training, getting to see some of the best companies in the business and meeting other shooting enthusiasts, there’s no doubt it was worth the $210 entry fee. We got more than our money’s worth. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year.
Rumor control has it that there are more Circle The Wagons events in the works. Alabama, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Tennessee are all possible contenders. We’ll just have to wait and see. Either way, it’s guaranteed to be a blast.
Special thanks to Iron Hammer Armory and the Hammer family for all of their hard work scheduling this event and keeping both days on track and exciting.
