Most of the economy brands will be fine at 150 yards. Where they fail is at the extreme limit of their range.

I have one of the old Yardage Pros and it has performed fairly well for me. |

Cool - thanks. I am buying it because I was shooting at a residence and was told I was too close (less than the required 150 yards), but once I have the item in hand,I will know for sure.

Dang, if you're shooting AT a residence I would think they'd have bigger concerns than exactly how far away you are! Like finding some cover maybe.
