High Power/Service Rifle Targets

This question has probably been asked before, but I can't find the thread. Remeber, I'm a noobie. There appear to be a number of different targets for High Power with different designations like "SC 1." Where can I find a run-down on all the targets and what they're used for?

I don't know if this is the best description, but this site might help:

It has descriptions of the "normal range" targets and additionally the 'codes' for targets used at reduced distances.
