Headed into the state from relative freedom in Ohio for the holiday.

I know things have changed in the year and a half I’ve been gone.

I don’t have much that can be considered legal in state. Thinking about bringing my 12-ga 1301 with +2 mag extension. 7 rounds total. Still good to go?

As of January 15, 2013, the term “Assault Weapon” has been redefined as:

a. Folding or Telescoping Stock
b. Thumbhole Stock
c. Second Handgrip or Protruding Grip that can be held by non-trigger hand
d. Fixed magazine capacity in excess of seven rounds
e. An ability to accept a detachable magazine

So based on that, depending on your configuration.. yes, legal. I want to get a 1301 this year, just had other things come up.

Thanks, so it’s still SAFE Act status quo.

Wish I could bring the 10” noisemaker:
