At 10:00am NYC Councilman Shaun Abreu  will announce the introduction of a bill designed to mitigate gun violence by addressing the widespread illegal transportation of firearms into New York City, City Hall steps, Manhattan .

Always love how they think focusing on the supply will somehow dry up the demand. It worked so well with "illegal" drugs You can get just about any Schedule I drug you want if you look hard enough. Supposedly meth use is on the decline because Fentanyl is so readily available.

They'll just turn the NYCPD into "Border Guards" who'll search every vehicle or pedestrian coming into or leaving the City....  Perhaps they can get tips from the former Guards on the Eastern side of the Berlin Wall.
These power hungry motherfuckers are getting dangerously close to a point of no return.  

Manhattan and Staten Islands, being a islands, would be in an easier position to accomplish that than Brooklyn, Queens or The Bronx. Block off the bridges, tunnels and subways except for a single entry and exit point manned with NYC Customs officials. Problem solved

Of course if you want to swim the Harlem or East River's, that is always an option Plus dead of night boats hauling illegal contraband in would a possibility.
