Quote History Langley Academy on YouTube was all over this. He posed the interesting question about the money. As recalled, the $3.5 trillion "Human Infrastructure Bill" (though I would call the human slush fund) has a proposal buried in it somewhere for $5 billion in nationwide funding for "gun violence". Now, suddenly, New York wants $5 billion all alone for New York gun violence. The bill for anti-2A money is miraculously going up and will probably be folded into "Health Initiatives".
Next I am sure it will be Chicago, Baltimore, Minneapolis, DC and a few other "Blue Cities", that scaled back law enforcement and are now reaping the rewards, that hope they will receive a huge influx of taxpayer money to fight a problem of their own making. "New York has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation" is the constant statement from our leadership. And we need $5 billion because they are not working? I am a software developer since the 1980's. If I had to write a computer simulation of how our state and society are run, I would lose my mind. I just cannot figure out the logic that would make it all work because there is no logic.
