Seven of the top 10 are my area though Syosset has me puzzled. It is a rather over developed community with a lot of industry. In fact, Silicon Valley actually started in Syosset. Fairchild Camera and Instrument was located in Syosset (some still remember the old Fairchild building off Robbins Lane). They provided the funding to Robert Noyce to start Fairchild Semiconductor in an old orchard near San Jose. The rest is history...
