I think the commies want to get rid of him and bring in an even more lefty socialist governor. FUAC is in the way of their tax policies (tax the rich, tax stock transactions, tax middle class). As fucked up as FUAC is, he knows pushing the rich out will leave the State desolate, with no money to pay for the exorbitant spending on "programs" that they want.

It does not help that he has the uncanny ability to piss off everyone he meets. There are loads of democrats who loathe him. Sure the drones keep voting for him but that's because the Republcans are literally Hitler.
He's an insufferable conceited "tough guy" shit who thinks he is the smartest person in the room and who always passes the buck. We aren't the only ones who hate the guy, he's burned a lot of bridges, bullied, and blackmailed a lot of people over the years. Not to mention on many issues he is nowhere near as leftist as people want him to be. I'm not holding my breath but its fun to see them suddenly turn on him. |

My MIL worked for an upstate university. She’s super liberal and has connections to all sorts of big money in the state. She thinks he's toast.
I might be remembering this wrong: When a couple of local colleges published a scathing critique of Cuomo’s higher Ed policies, he had his delegates call upstate-based universities and tell them he was going to deny them state level funding because of the few schools involved unless they lined up to suck his cock. Literally threatened them all. He’s always been such a vindictive fuck to everyone, it was only a matter of time before it came back to bite him. |

Governor Andrew Cuomo Governor Letitia James Governor Carl Heastie Governor Andrea Stewart-Cousins Governor Corie Johnson (New York City Council Speaker - think he is hitting term limits) Seriously, it would most likely wind up as one of these on the ticket in 2022. Bharara was told to stand down on the corruption. NYSAG delayed and covered on the COVID scandal. Then all of a sudden NYSAG does an about face. And, totally planned a Dem politician said he was threatened. And three sex accusers are “suddenly” identified and trickled out. This isn’t Cuomo getting caught.
