The legislature will livestream a public hearing tomorrow, Feb. 10 @ 9:30am on public protection proposals in the state budget.

Students Demand Action will testify in support of S-1049, Establishes the Community Violence Intervention and Prevention Act; provides findings for evidence-based and evidence-informed health programs from hospital-based and community-based programs.  

The bill declares that "gun violence" is "a crisis" and hands out monies to political cronies.

Maybe they should focus on rolling back some of their criminal ass kissing bail reform steps if they are so concerned about public safety.
