Happy Holidays All,

We will be holding our December Practical Rifle Match on Saturday December 28th.  One special note for this match, there will be a sight in period for those who got new optics over the holidays.

There will be a brief sight-in period from 9:00am-9:15am.  You will need to bring your own sight in target.  Also, if you have a spotting scope, you might want to bring that too.  Remember our matches typically sell out within hours of the link opening.  If you want to shoot with us, please be ready to sign-up at 9:00am on December 10th.  

Please note, the sight-in opportunity is only for folks who got new optics!

You will also need:

A magazine fed semi-automatic center fire rifle.
Eye and Ear protection
Four functional magazines
80 rounds of ammunition
A Chamber Flag
A sling for your rifle
Masking tape for your target
A sharpie marker
To be at the range signed in and ready to go by no later than 0830hrs
A case for your rifle.
Bring exact change and your signed waiver
A positive and safe attitude


Optional items :

Knee and Elbow pads
A shooting mat
Binoculars or Spotting scope


Things to think about:

We shoot in rain, sleet, snow, and heat. Please be sure to dress for conditions. You will shoot in standing, knelling and prone positions. That means you may get wet or dirty. Please wear appropriate foot gear. We strongly suggest a good boot. No open toe shoes are permitted.

When do you do the WW2 match?  Is that January or February?

The WWII match will be February 22nd 2014.  Registration will take place 2/10/14 at 0900hrs.

Hope that LD doesn't do the snow dance last two years were a blizzard.

The December match is sold out.  We open registration at 9000hrs on the 10th of the month for our matches.  We typically sell out within an hour.  I know of no other fairer way to do registration.  Hope to see you at one of our future matches.
