A friend of mine texted me and said that NY can't enact any new law if there is an active lawsuit. Does anyone know whether or not this is a valid statement?

Never heard of that.  Perhaps this friend could direct you to a particular statute or case supporting the position.

Even though the the law is ilegal, it makes no difference. The state goverment as well as the federal goveremnt make what ever they want legal law in there own fucked up minds and apply it. Its a fucking disgrace what this counntry and states are doing to us.

As far as im concerened the goveremnt can go fuck themselves
