What I did was go up there on a Wednesday night and hand it to them in person, that way a few people got to know me on the spot. Glad to have another ARfcom person there! I'm also a member at the Bath Rod and Gun Club, a very friendly place with tasty breakfast on the weekends.

I've shot at the rifle range. It's pretty good, nice and simple.

Bath is a good club too, if I was a bit closer I would definitely be a member there!
