the seller offered to tack weld the adaptor to the muzzle to permanently cover the threads.  Is that acceptable, and considered the same as silver soldered??, or is the blind pin the only way to be sure??

I suppose I could have him send it right to adco, but now it is starting to become more expensive, and logistically difficult.

what says my fellow NY prisoners??

ADCO would be your best option. You could have it shipped there directly, or you could take possesion of it as long as you didn't attach it to a lower.
