IMO -
93B: great idea, latch is too big, top-side sling wear is odd when you have to
close the stock, the sling catches on it. Best cheekweld out there on a
collapser bar none.
CTR: there should be no other std M4 stock. It is that good. It should be
THE collapsing stock. It has the same cheekweld flaws (cheek half on half off,
beard issues) of any other tube-based stock, but no one seems to mind.
the locking mechanism not only locks the stock in place lengthwise, but
locks the stock PERIOD. the thing deos not rotate, move, slide at all.
amazing.
PRS: makes rosie odonnel look light. FAR too heavy for me. no excuse
other than for benchrest precision rifles that you will never ever carry.
cheekrest is useless, you gotta crane your neck back. not their fault,
more eugene stoner's fault. my dream is a PRS with a full length cheekpiece
and a side charging upper. until then, no thanks. Having said that,
I'm sure all taht weight is due to some reinforcing materials and
hot damn the thing is solid. THE most solid stock I've ever used.
UBR: on paper, it looks great. Zak Smith said it s a bit heavy,
but for the feature set it presents on paper, it might be worth it.
Hare are the ones I've had.
