Painfull.  I lived in 'Boken for several years, never owned a gun there.  Word is that everytime you walk into 1 Police Plaza for anything firearm related (FID, pistol permit, what ever) they bang you for $100 on the spot; that true?

Shot at Karl's place a whole lot before the developers purchased most of the west side.  Became friendly with a great guy named Jerry (Tompson?) -- an ex Corrections Officer -- who told some great stories about growing up in town.  One of my favorite was how him and his friends would spend their weekends at the plants and warehouse and pick at rats with .22 rifles; every now and then a Police Officer would trot up on a horse, whip out his .38, and demonstrate Pest Control via Superior Firepower :-)   Could you imagine that happending today, in our Post-9/11 / Columbine / Reagan- / Kennedy- / Lincoln-shooting world? :-/

Is that range the SP uses/used?  It looks awfully familiar.  My father took me there a couple of times when he was on one teams unit.

I know many different PDs use them, not too sure about the SP though.

Its an awesome range.

The only one I know in the state that is 600 yards and has a 'plinking' range.

Unfortunately its about 2 hours south of me.. I rarely go down.
