If you were a worker or volunteer who provided the following recovery services in response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center:
- Rescue
- Recovery
- Debris Removal
- Restoration of Vital Support Services
You may be eligible to receive a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL comprehensive medical screening examination under the federally funded World Trade Center Worker and Volunteer Medical Screening Program.
The exam includes:
- Questions related to work history and medical history, focused especially on symptoms of respiratory conditions, nasal/sinus problems, WTC-related injuries;
- A physical examination by a physician;
- Complete blood count, routine blood and urine tests;
- Breathing Tests;
- A Chest X-Ray;
- Evaluation of stress related effects.
Each participant will receive referrals for followup medical care and benefits and entitlement information if needed, and a confidential written report of examination results. All individual examination results will be kept strictly confidential. No information about any individual will be provided to anyone other than the person examined without his/her written consent.
