For the last few months I've had this "need to remember" the events of a night in January of 1981, when I awoke from a deep sleep with a forboading feeling....I turned on the AM clock radio to hear the news that would later confirm the sadness of news that I hoped wouldn't be true.
After finally putting some effort into this, here's what I found: Twentyfive years after triple murder...
T.A. Burnham was a neighbor and friend to me. His neice was in some of my classes, and I spent a fair amount of time at her (she was interested in the horses, but not me).... just the day before, he gave me a ride out to our horse pasture so I could go rideing (must have felt sorry watching a kid carrying a saddle and tack down the side of the road)
I'll have to include him and his widow in our prayers.
Now, maby this won't haunt me any longer.
