Hey Gents,

I'm gonna be taking a trip out to San Antonio, TX tomorrow morning and I was wondering what the regs were for bringning two pre-ban lowers with 3 uppers.  I've got airline regs pretty much down pat(starlite case, locked unloaded and no ammo) but I just wanna make sure that since Laguardia is in the city, if i'd automatically be in trouble for bringing 2 ar's within city limits.  Anyone have any insights?

As long as there in locked cases and you're traveling thru, there shouldn't be any real problem.
Keep you eyes on your stuff, Don't ask/don't tell is still a good policy. (of course you've got to do the airlines declaration thing and the security screeners will want to verify there un-loaded, loaked,....
Have fun in San Antonio! I really enjoyed it when I was stationed there.

You should not be asked anything upon arival, but I am not completely sure.
Your declaration should be set and TSA will make sure that your document is there.
NO AMMO in the same case.

If you see a PAPD officer, do not ask what the laws are for carrying unassembled firearms through NYC, just get through the city and be done with it.
