Phobia who is one of the NY member's works there. He posted here about it a few weeks ago. The manufacturing facility and custom shop is located in Yonkers.

New York State was one of the leading firearms manufacturers in the U.S. Henry Repeating Arms is located in Brooklyn. They make some really nice lever guns.

If we're covering our local gun makers, don't forget that Clyde's Zip Guns is located in the Marvin Pitt Housing Projects on 155th Street in Manhattan.

Clyde's is highly recommended. There's also an excellent Title 2 dealer on the corner of 181 St. and Audubon  Ave. in Washington Hgts.

Isn't it ironic that many of the finest guns and/or largest manufacturers operate in states with the most strengent, anally retentive, assinine laws.
Don't forget Dan Wesson Arms in Norwich and of course Remington in Illion.

No

Then screw them, I know SIG does.  Maybe a road trip by the NY/NJ crew is in order.

Lets not forget Ithaca and Savage which used to be in Utica. Many of the M2's and THompsons used in the great war were manufactured in NY state. How far we have come, or not.....

Ithaca sadly is gone.  A company in Ohio may take the Ithaca business forward but Ithaca's link with NYS is permanently severed.

I've always had a hankering for Ithacas, having once lived in the apartments now standing on the former factory site on Lake Street.  I must have at least a dozen.  I was very sad to see them go but they've been in trouble for a long, long time.

www.rohrbaughfirearms.com are in Bayport Long Island.

Years ago United States Sporting Arms made their single action revolvers on Long island for some time. In Hauppauge for a while, then in Riverhead before going out west.

It's funny how the liberal NE is home to some of the largest firearms manf in the US.  I guess most of them have been here for over 100 years.

Here is another LI manf I got from the M14 crowd. LRB Arms they are located in Floral Park.

The firearms industry in NY has a long and proud history which dates back to the Revolutionary War. The West Point Foundry in Cold Spring was established in the early 1800's and produced heavy artillery for many years including rifled cannons which were used in the Civil War.

The NY anti-gun and anti-industry politicians should hang their heads in shame for creating a climate that has forced some of these firearm related companies out of NY.

Well...  large parts of New England have been on the wrong side of history from the get-go. We'd still be an English colony if we listened to many of them.
