I am happily married you macho, ah hem, "men" -

I was curious because we seem to have a healthy population in the Woman's Forum. I guess NY / NJ will continue to come up short with Female AR enthisiasts WHO are registered here as members.

We've got a bit of a cultural difference with most of the rest of the country. Its bad enough the men own firearms but *GASP* women too?

The midwest and south tend to accept that type of thing a little better.

Whatdya (she) think?

As a lover of "Surf music" She digs Dick Dale & Link Wray. Them's being her guitar gods Probably a little modest for that handle. She's working now. I'll run it by her this evening.
She goes by ak97 on gunbroker. Ak being her nickname. Though originaly it had nothing to do with the firearm. I think it made buying a SLR101s and enjoying it that much easier.

Wow - I thought her to be much younger than the SURF CROWD. Cool. Of course no lover of surf music would not be with out their Fender Strat or MOSRITE.

One: Mosrite 63-65 12 string
One: Original some pieces replaced Factory (RARE) Green and Ivory Banding Combo
One: Factory Cherry Burst Combo
One: Fender Blue 20th Anniversary Strat.

Some others I can't remember.

1963 Original Gretsch Reverb Chamber.

WOW!!!Let's have a pic of that Cherry burst
She was gonna go with some sort of Gretch. Untill The Gibson SG caught the eye. It's a Angus Young series. Cheesy, yes. But quite nice. Basicly it's a 67-68 reissue. $2k guitar with 50 cents of knowledge If things work out. There may be a Tele in her future. Tone brother, tone.

I've been playing bass since 84. Got a Rick 4001. Ampeg SVT 350 head & SVT 810 cab

Heh, literally got to dig it out and then photo. Last time I had 'er out my former band mate blew the "E" up and I never replaced it, <moans> it has one of the thinest Combo necks I've ever seen. I've played more off than on since '65. I got the MOSRITE bug ~1999 and re-infected my band buddy, who can do a PREETY good copy of Clapton's Crossroads and Spoonful. Me? I watch and get a boner .

I have a 1970-71 Hofner Beatle Base also. Neck weighs mpre than the body.

I'm feeling kind of out numbered. You guys need to get your better halves to come post on here.

Thinking on it, I don't think I know any females personally here in WNY who are into firearms.
