I had a RRA brake perm. attached to my barrel. Eagle Firearms did the work. My question is did the ATF approve RRA's brakes as they did Bushmasters Izzy brake? I'm asking because I live in NY and I want to be prepared for any new laws that might come.

Yes it's legal, and you can tell the police the AR15.com guys said so.  Just print this and carry it with you.

(personally I'd call RRA and get an official answer)

From Rock Rivers site,

"These are threaded and need to be pinned and welded to be AWB Compliant. They DO NOT slip-on, press-on or set screw in place, barrel must be threaded."

Hi there - are you talking about this one (Military Style Brake)? My NY legal "ban neutered" RRA upper came with it, so as long as it's permanently attached you're OK.
