I have a Fabarm (hk) fp6. Santa just gave me a 7 shot magazine tube extension. Is this legal in NewYork ? It has a pistol grip and fixed stock.
 Stupid laws .

NY has some limits on semi-auto capacity on post 94 production shotties in conjunction with other evil features. No capacity limit on pumps. Of course, thats not getting into En Con capacity limits in the field while hunting, which is another issue.

Like TC said but you still need to comply with the +10 round LCAFD ban for any postban LCAFD. Eight round mag extensions are pretty much the limit based on barrel length so that is normally not an issue.

In the city itself you're still limited to a 5 round mag though.

23. "Large capacity ammunition feeding device" means a magazine, belt,
drum, feed strip, or similar device, manufactured after September thirteenth, nineteen hundred ninety-four, that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than ten rounds of ammunition; provided, however, that such term does not include an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition. |
